“I was first attracted to Topshop Topman because of the fabulous product, the brand identity and reputation, and also because it was super fast paced. I actually joined the business as a Topshop Deputy Brand Manager and within 2 years I was promoted to Topshop Brand Manager on a long term secondment. A permanent Topman Brand Manager position became available in my local flagship store, which I saw as a great opportunity to tackle menswear. When the Visual Manager position became available I jumped at the chance. It's been my goal since joining Topshop Topman!
My day starts with a 4:10am alarm (which gives me that most important 20 minute snooze time!) My breakfast and outfit are already laid out the night before to save time! I meet my Visual team outside the store at 6am, coffee in hand and ready to get cracking.
A typical day involves implementing layouts, putting company visual guidelines in place and checking all commercial blocks are set up for trade. Lots of pre-planning and being organised is essential to make sure the resource is in the right place to deliver the expectation."
